The G83 M4 Competition Convertible suits a couple or a family with children who want a fast convertible with usable rear seats. The 3.0-litre straight-six makes 510 PS and reaches 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. M xDrive all-wheel drive is noticeably calmer than rear-wheel-drive cars in the rainy season, and the menu lets you switch to 4WD Sport or 2WD.

The soft top folds in 18 seconds at up to 50 km/h. During the day it is more comfortable to keep the roof closed; in the evening, open it on the road along Kamala and Surin beaches or on the way to the sunset at Promthep Cape.

Luggage space is 385 litres with the roof up and 300 litres with it down.
