Koh Yao Noi is a small island that has barely changed in decades, with an eco-friendly home stay programme run by local residents. It received the World Legacy Award for Destination Stewardship from Conservation International and National Geographic Traveler in 2002.

The helicopter leaves the heliport in Sakhu and flies over small uninhabited islands. From the air guests see rice paddies, wooden houses, rubber plantations and maybe water buffalo, then land and spend time on the ground, up to 2 hours. On the way back the flight follows the northern coast of Phuket past the Blue Canyon golf course and parts of Phang Nga.

The helicopter lands on the helipad of Six Senses Yao Noi Resort, so lunch or activities at the resort are mandatory and paid at the hotel. The aircraft is an Airbus Helicopters EC130, up to 6 passengers.

  • Cancel: 3 days or more: 25%; 3 hours to 3 days: 50%; under 3 hours: 100%
  • Reschedule: 3 days or more: free; 3 hours to 3 days: 18,725 THB; under 3 hours: 100%. New date within 30 days
  • A child under 100 cm may sit on a guardian's lap; taller children need their own seat
  • Passengers over 100 kg must buy an additional seat
