Chris Craft 27

The Chris Craft 27 is an open power boat, 8.0 metres long, with teak on the foredeck and cockpit, white upholstery, two helm chairs and a bench aft. There is wraparound seating and a sun pad forward, a bimini for shade and a boarding ladder at the transom. Twin Volvo Penta 300 hp engines give a cruising speed of 28 knots. There is no cabin and no overnight accommodation. Snorkelling masks and fins and beach towels are aboard.

Guests are welcomed in a private lounge at Boat Lagoon Marina and walk to the pontoon. The full day charter runs from 09:00 to 17:00 or from 10:00 to 18:00. The licensed skipper sets the route for wind, tide and sea state, and the English-speaking hostess looks after the guests. Typical destinations are Kai and Naka islands, Phang Nga Bay and four islands near Krabi. Lunch or dinner ashore can be arranged when booking.

The full day charter of 8 hours costs 41,900 baht all year. A sunset cruise of 3 hours costs 28,350 baht, a 5 hour half day to Rang Yai and Koh Kai costs 35,600 baht, and an island transfer costs 26,250 baht per way. All rates are per charter for up to four guests and include VAT. National park fees are paid in addition, and the concierge will confirm the exact price.
