BAYC Asia (MCY 86)

BAYC Asia is a Monte Carlo Yachts 86 motor yacht, 26.3 m long, built in 2015 and refitted in 2023. She takes up to 20 guests on a day charter and 8 guests overnight. There are four en-suite cabins: two double and two twin. The crew is 5-7 people. Cruising speed is 10-13 knots.

On deck there is a bow lounge, a fully covered flybridge and a large cockpit. Two gyro stabilisers reduce roll at anchor and underway. On board: air-conditioning, watermaker, 55-inch smart TVs in the salon and master cabin, BBQ, sound system, 4G WiFi, deck shower and a hydraulic bathing platform. Toys: tender with 60 hp outboard, two paddle boards, floating swimming pool, large floating mat, towable donut, snorkeling equipment, fishing equipment on request and a dive compressor.

Full day, 8 hours. Standard destinations: Phang Nga Bay and James Bond Island; Hong (Phang Nga) and Khai; Maiton, Khai and Rang Yai. Price per charter in baht: low season (May to October) / high season (November to April): 340,000 / 390,000. Transfer from and to your hotel, villa or airport, snacks, fruit, soft drinks, beer and national park fees are included. Fuel covers 4 hours of engine work; each extra hour is THB 20,000. A fuel surcharge of THB 20,000 applies to Phang Nga Bay and Hong Krabi, Hong Krabi and Pakbia Islands, Maiton and Racha Yai Islands, and the Phi Phi Islands. Over 10 guests there is an extra THB 2,000 per person, up to 20 guests.

Multi-day charters, 8 guests, morning departure and evening return on the last day. Price per charter in baht: low season / high season: 2 days / 1 night 680,000 / 780,000; 3 days / 2 nights 1,020,000 / 1,170,000; 4 days / 3 nights 1,360,000 / 1,560,000; 5 days / 4 nights 1,700,000 / 1,950,000. Meals are extra at THB 5,000 per person per day (mixed Thai and Western menu with BBQ). Fuel fits 4 hours of engine work per day. Suggested routes include Phang Nga Bay, Hong Krabi, Railay, Krabi 4 Islands, Phi Phi, Racha Yai, Racha Noi, Haa and Rok. The Similan Islands are possible on 4 and 5 day charters; on 4 days there is a THB 80,000 fuel surcharge.

Weekly charter, 7 nights from 12:00 to 12:00, 8 guests: USD 53,000 in low season and USD 63,000 in high season, plus a 30% Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) for food, drinks, fuel, port and marina fees, national park fees and land transport. These are charged at cost. Unused APA is refunded after the charter and any shortfall is paid by the charterer. For fewer than seven nights, divide the weekly rate by six and multiply by the number of nights.

Lunch on a day charter, per person: vegetarian THB 1,200, Thai THB 1,500, Western THB 1,700, seafood THB 2,000, BBQ THB 2,500. Each menu includes a fruit platter and cake. Wine, spirits and beer can be pre-ordered and are charged separately. Extras: iAQUA underwater scooter THB 10,000 per day, jet ski at the island stop THB 4,000 per 30 minutes, diving equipment and services on request.
