The price shown on the card, from THB 4,400, is the rate for 7 to 13 days. In the high season (roughly November to mid-March, highest around New Year) the day rate is higher and changes by date, so we confirm the total for your dates before you book. One-way delivery or return costs: Karon and Kata Noi THB 170, Chalong and Rawai THB 330, Patong and Kathu THB 660, Phuket Town, Rassada, Panwa and Kamala THB 770, Bang Tao, Surin, Thalang, Nai Thon and Nai Yang THB 1,100, Phuket airport THB 1,100, Mai Khao THB 1,320. Delivery and return to Patong, for example, is THB 1,320 in total. Delivery to some areas needs a minimum number of rental days, and from 15 November to 15 March the minimum rental is 3 days for all cars and areas; we confirm this when you book.

Business insurance covers most road situations if the traffic rules are followed. It does not cover tyres, glass, wheels and rims, damage from falling objects (coconuts included), or driving under alcohol or drugs. The refundable deposit is paid in cash banknotes, in baht or the equivalent in any currency; it covers tyres, glass, rims and the deductible after an at-fault accident, and it is returned at drop-off. After an accident that was not your fault the deposit is returned in full. Take photos and a video of the car from all sides at pick-up. Refundable deposit for this car: THB 35,000. Driver: at least 21 years old with at least 3 years of driving experience. Thai law formally requires an international driving licence, and police may fine a driver without one; the car can be rented with a national licence, and an international licence is accepted together with a photo of the national one sent in advance. An expired licence is not valid and then the insurance does not apply. Return the car with the same fuel level as at pick-up. Mileage: up to 5 days 120 km per day (added up over the rental), extra distance THB 10 per km; from 5 days the mileage is unlimited. Allowed territory: Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi, Khao Lak and Cheow Lan; ferries are not allowed. Payment is at pick-up, no prepayment: cash or bank transfer in baht, rubles via SBP, or US dollars in cash. No smoking, animals or durian in the car (THB 3,000 for cleaning). A dirty car costs THB 400 to wash unless you return it clean.
