Five adventure dives over two days with an instructor, with no classroom and no final exam. The Deep Dive and the Underwater Navigation Dive are required. Further adventure dives may include Peak Performance Buoyancy, Drift Diving, Wreck Diving, Fish Identification and Night Diving, depending on schedule and conditions.

The result is PADI Advanced Open Water certification and diving to 30 meters (21 meters for under 13). Training sites may include Racha Yai, Racha Noi, King Cruiser Wreck and the Phi Phi Islands. Water is 28 to 30 degrees C all year. Groups are small and scheduling is flexible.

Requirements

  • Open Water Diver certification or equivalent
  • Minimum age 10 years
  • Good general health
  • No flying for 18 to 24 hours after diving
  • Bring swimwear, towel and sunscreen
  • Do not touch marine life
  • Do not dive with congestion, illness, dehydration or after heavy drinking
